Bizarrely, when I try it again in the d8 v2.3.9 shell, it is now working
for me too. I have no idea what changed since the failure I copied into my
first bug report. I see you tried the v3.1.6 shell. I just tried that too,
and it also works for me.
Are there any diagnostics you'd like me to run on my browser to try to
determine if it differs from yours in some salient way?
