The problem seems to be not reproducible in the Mac build of Chrome 17.0.963.46, but it is consistently reproducible on the Windows version. I followed the steps above (for the dojo examples) but it took quite a few clicks on the calendar to get the error. OS X 10.7.2, Windows XP SP3.
