I cannot reproduce the remaining problems with Maps that you describe. Which Chrome build are you using?
The issue with Twitter is separate, see http://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=1957 -- it has already been fixed in V8 by r10832 and should roll into Chromium today.
