I applied your patch and systematically ran benchmarks to test for
improvements. Unfortunately, none of the benchmark I tested against (among
others, V8, Kraken and Sunspider) showed any significant improvements, but
regressions in some single cases.
So please understand that we would rather not accept this patch, since it
does not make V8 faster, but increases code size and makes the code less
maintainable. Thank you for the contribution nevertheless!
