The contents of build/gyp/ is a checkout of GYP, which is a third-party
build-time dependency of V8. To request changes in there, please file a bug
against the GYP project at gyp.googlecode.com.
Besides, 64bit builds on Mac work just fine for me with current
bleeding_edge. Mac 64bit support was landed in r11199, so you should try
again with 3.10.1 or later (based on issue 2086, I'm guessing you used
3.9.24).
