New issue 2236 by [email protected]: SunSpider on ARM relatively slower than on ia32
http://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=2236

As reported by [email protected]:

The sunspider bench mark is reporting clearly in x86 machine that v8 is more efficient than the traditional JSC. But if I compile and test same code for an ARM processor, I see that sunspider is reporting 1930 ms for V8, where as its reporting 1857 ms for JSC. I just wonder what could be the issue here. Why sunspider giving high score for V8 than JSC in ARM processor.

I recall other hearing of other anecdotal evidence that V8 ARM seems to be slower in some situations than expected. Needs to be investigated.
