One quick thing I can say is that V8 3.10.0 is both old and known to be buggy (as pretty much all of our x.y.0 versions). It never even made it into a Chrome Canary build. I don't think it's worth anybody's time to figure out what exactly this version was doing wrong in your case.
Please try again with a later version (3.12.19.3 or latest bleeding_edge would be good candidates) and report back if the issue still exists.
