The title of the issue is solved, but the described advantage is not yet achieved. We currently do not allow modifications of properties to avoid long transition chains.
The only case that is currently supported is adding an extra accessor to an accessorpair that did not contain the new accessor yet (eg adding a setter to a configurable property that has a getter).
