Please provide tar.gz files with the full source including the appropriate
GYP source in the downloads section.
As it is right now, the FreeBSD port of v8 requires that the port's
maintainer pull down GYP and create a tarball for the port to use.
Otherwise, building the port would have a build requirement of subversion
being installed.
It would be much easier if the port could pull down a tarball of the source
that is complete with GYP revision 1501 or whichever revision is
appropriate for that source tree. Then the FreeBSD port (and any similar
BSD port system and Gentoo) can just pull the tarball directly from here
and build from source without any extra steps or repackaging.
