I think the line number you mention refers to a rather ancient 3.11 version
of v8. If your OS is not giving you more memory, there is not much v8 can
do, so this is not a v8 bug.
I am just assigning it to "Mr. GC", perhaps we should call our fatal error
handler there instead of using an assertion, but I am not even sure if this
is possible at that place (@mstarzinger: If not, just close the issue as
invalid). The end result would be the same for you, anyway. Get more
memory! :-)
