This bug still makes a lot of sense. The raspbian packages are patched,
heavily inspired by the gerrit patch, see the debian.tar.gz at
http://distribution-us.hexxeh.net/raspbian/archive/raspbian/pool/main/libv/libv8/
V8 does not work on the raspberry pi - at least not out of the box. The
same problem arises for the ruby / libv8 package
