Comment #1 on issue 2809 by [email protected]: Test webkit/fast/js/stack-overflow-arrity-catch fails
http://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=2809

The test assumptions might be wrong. The test seems to assume that the constructor calls new RegExp('a|b|c') and new Date() cannot cause a stack overflow, which is wrong.

The difference between linux 32 and 64 is explicable: It looks like the call to new Date() causes a stack overflow. On linux 32, the following call to test1() causes a stack overflow again, while on linux 64 it seems to have room enough to proceed into test1() and fail first there with a new stack overflow.

The question is: Can this test case be transformed so that it still gives a useful coverage or should it be dropped completely?
