New issue 2997 by [email protected]: Chrome 30x slower than FF
executing a emscripted lib
http://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=2997
I compiled libtess2 to JS via emscripten.
libtess2 (original): https://github.com/memononen/libtess2
libtess2.js (emscripted): https://github.com/claus/libtess2.js
This test executes way slower in Chrome vs in FF:
http://codeazur.com.br/shumway/libtessbench/examples/simple_triangulation/index_libtess2.html
On MAC OS X 10.9, i7
Chrome Canary (33.0.1706.0): ~45ms
Firefox Nightly (28.0a1 2013-11-10): ~1.5ms
This strikes me as odd. Chrome should be much faster?
