truncation create and mutate regular Arrays whose prototypes may have been
altered

Object.defineProperty([].__proto__, '0', { get: function() { throw 'Foo'; }
});
We should consider preparing the storage for the removed array on
the "splice" change record and transferring it to an Array as a final step,
rather than inviting mutations to the Array prototype to have side-effects.
