Agreed. I'd like to keep the user interface "make ia32.release", "make
x64.debug" and so on. We can change the toplevel Makefile to invoke the
ninja generator under the hood.
Does it make sense to do this at the same time as the eventual switch to
GN? For now, building V8 does not require depot_tools... Then again if we
have to introduce that dependency anyway, it doesn't matter much whether we
use it for several things right away.
