Not sure if I misunderstand, but
- If a promise is rejected not through throw, but via calling the reject
function, nothing happens.
- At the throw site, we look for the promise that will get rejected as
consequence. If that promise has no reject handler, we consider that an
uncaught exception.
- If at that point the promise already has a reject handler, nothing
happens.
- Pause on uncaught exception is not even on by default. Nothing happens if
you don't care about uncaught exceptions.
I suggest you try the latest Canary.
