This semantic change is intended, the notion of "default isolate" has been
removed, and in the long run we might even kill the notion of "current
isolate". This has been discussed already several times, but in a nutshell
these things introduce far more problems than they solve.
OTOH, we should really update our "Getting Started" docs...
