Hi, Can you please provide some more information on what you mean by a 'new platform.' If you are building on some Linux variant running on either Intel (IA-32) or ARM then you might need to add another platform-xxx.cc file for the OS API (there are currently files for Linus, Mac OS and FreeBSD) . If you running on another CPU architecture then a whole new assembler/codegenerator etc. needs to be implemented which is a large undertaking (see files src/*-ia32/* and src/*-arm/* for implementation for IA-32 and ARM). V8 does not have an interpreted mode.
