Thanks for the info. This was sort of a personal side project to see if I could use Cygwin to replace my test VMWare VM for development of Linux FastCGI programs. Notes in the just released Cygwin 1.7 gave me hope that it might work, but I am hitting a lot of road blocks along the way (V8 was just one).
