Recent versions of v8 seem to have an issue with a mobile version of Google Finance page, that is:
http://www.google.com/m/finance I have checked some earlier versions of Google Chrome, and it seems that: - Google Chrome, version 6.0.472 with V8 engine 2.2. *is* able to display the mobile version of Google Finance page. - Google Chrome, version 7.0.517 with V8 engine 2.3.11.22 is *not* able to display the mobile version of Google Finance page. - The latest version of Google Chrome - that is 11.0.696 - with V8 version 3.1.8.14 is *not* able to display it either. >From this, I would assume that the issue is in v8, and I would guess the bug was introduced somewhere between V8 2.2 and V8 2.3.11.22. Additional testing has shown that the problematic change may have been committed between 2.3.2 (July 19, 2010) and 2.3.3 (July 21, 2010). Is anyone at Google V8/Chromium team aware of this? If so, have you tried to debug it and can you share your current findings on the script that is causing the problem? Thanks.
