Oh, ok. Wrong understanding of the externals then. What i would like to
do is set to the object a C pointer. Should i be using internal fields
for that?

it does not make any sense to make an External accessible from JS by

Hello,
I am new to v8 embedding, so bear with me! I am trying to make a
zlib library for nodejs. The problem comes up to this function :
https://gist.github.com/1202435
Lines 2 and 6 cause a seg fault. s.next_in and s.next_out are
indeed valid pointers. Is there any special care i need to take to
set an External to the Object?
Thank you.
Damianos.
