You can use a v8::TryCatch for exception.

v8::TryCatch try_catch;
// ....
v8::Handle<v8::Value> result = script->Run();
if (result.IsEmpty()) {
    v8::String::Utf8Value exception(try_catch->Exception());
    v8::Handle<v8::Message> message = try_catch->Message();
    // message contains exception info
}

You can throw exception by return this:
return
v8::ThrowException(v8::Exception::Error(v8::String::New("message
here..")));
