Hey I am trying to debug an embedded v8 application. I observe that the v8 sometimes returns "Uncaught null" exception.
In my binary I also use CURL to talk to a HTTP service. I have observed that when I link Curl with C-ARES I see lesser number of "Uncaught null" exceptions (around 10x). I am not doing any AdjustAmountOfExternalAllocatedMemory before making the CURL calls. So, a) why is V8 returning "Uncaught null" without any stack trace, is it a memory issue? I dont see that the binary is running near memory limits when this happens. b) Why is linking to C-ares helping? Posting here in case anyone has seen this and can throw some light. -Abhishek Kona -- -- v8-users mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/v8-users --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "v8-users" group.
