Hey Everyone!

I've been poking around on Atom for the last few weeks. It's a pretty niffy
piece of software, built on top of chromium and nodejs that allows web
developers to make custom packages for the editor.

The issue really is that there's pretty much no security for packages in
Atom. Some people even say it's impossible to have a secure package (see
this <https://github.com/atom/atom/issues/1763> discussion). I was hoping
that contexts or some other v8 mechanisms could provide some sort of
protection to the platform. Does anyone have any ideas on ways the Atom
team can secure packages? Feel free to get involved in the above linked
discussion as well.
