I was able to solve this with the following gyp args: python build/gyp_v8 -Dtarget_arch=x64 -Dsnapshot=off -Dv8_use_external_startup_data=0 -Dclang=1 -Dhost_clang=1 -Duse_custom_libcxx=1 -Dmac_deployment_target=10.10
