 My '68 G.T. had a control panel in the kitchen/galley area. You can see it on the far LH side of this picture:
 
 
There were some fuses and circuit breakers inside, along with switches, meters, and pilot lights on the front. Real Space Age stuff! What was nice about it was that all 12VDC wiring terminated in that panel, and it was easy to check or modify things. The meters are about useless, of course, especially the voltmeter.

Jim, Control Panel?  where might this panel be.  I'm in the dark, literaly.
