A cummings will pull 3,500 lbs like it's barely there. Get the trans checked
by a good mechanic, preferably at a trans shop. Before you tow, find out if
you're OK towing in OD with this particular trans (the owner's manual should
say). If it doesn't already have a pretty beefy trans cooler installed,
install one before you do any summer towing. Sounds like it could be a good
deal, but I'd get a mechanic to check the whole rig out.
