I don't know if it was this trailer or not, but about two years ago Ray
Holloway of Classic RV Restorations in Irvine, Ca. showed me an Airstream he
was fixing to work on. The owner had put a lot of stainless for counters
etc. into it already. I think that Ray said that there was $15,000 worth of
stainless in the trailer. True it makes for a lot of weight, and also a lot
of cost
.
