A point you make well:
If you were wanting to drive that Model 'T' on a daily basis, you'd want (at
minimum) better lights, brakes, and probably a couple of other items. If
you're just to drive it in parades or shows, then you want it as original as
possible. Same thing with an old A/S: if you want it original, that's great,
but who wants to be stuck with an icebox and no bathroom?
