The best tank making plastics, generally polyethylene, don't allow adhesives or resins to stick to them. They were originally either molded or heat welded. Heat welding can be used to repair them, but not by me. It involves hot air and filler rod, precisely the same procedure as gas torch welding but at a lower temperature. Gerald J.
