If you enjoyed the caravan photos you might also enjoy the coffee table
book, "Airstream", professionally done by Brian Burkhart, VAC newsletter
editor. It is a text and photo book on the history, founder, company, and
product including lots of photos of historic overseas caravans led by WB
himself. You can find it at the Airstream, Inc. website, www.airstream.com
for $19.95.
I purchased it at the factory WB Store last September and have spent a
surprising number of hours just flipping through, reading the text,
examining the historic photos, and trying to identify the year and size of
various vintage A/Ss. By now, the price of my book is down to about $1/hour
of enjoyment. Ask some of the VACList members. Many have purchased it and
commented on it on-list.
