Polly, I love the new State park at Ridgeway; stayed there right after it opened. Only problem is that it's 5 hrs from Denver, more for the folks north, so we need a more central place for our first get together. I'm looking forward to meeting you in person because I know you can't be all that "plain". You're a true Colorado free spirit.

No, that is not the one where we had our rally in Sept-- We were at a brand
new private park south of Montrose, almost to Ridgeway. I can't remember the
name and seem to have thrown out last years' newsletters in a fit of
organizing. I have not been to the KOA in Montrose, don't recall seeing it,
so it must be off the main highway.
This Sept we will be meeting at Ridgeway State Park, another very nice
facility, for out installation rally. This park has a nice pavillion that can
be rented for parties, meeting, etc. It is partially enclosed and somewhat
away from the campsites, very nice. We thought about having the wedding
reception there for DD's wedding but the logistics got too complicated with
out of town visitors accomodations ( they don't all have Airstreams - too
bad).
Bill Scott thought Sept would also be a good time for a RM VAC rally. I do
too, but have a possible conflict as I am scheduled to go to Washington state
and a trip on the Alaska ferry with my daughters and this may be at the same
time. I will know soon when that trip will be and can commit myself one way
or the other.
