Good Lord! WIth a tonner, you won't even notice it's there, with or without
an equalizer. I've got a '75 26' argosy, and towed it home with a station
wagon and an equilizer. Towed better than a 16' sob I have. Very stable, no
fishtailing. Make sure you maintain the recommended tounge weight, and you
should have no problem. My 26 weighs about 4,000 dry--yours would be less.
