For many years a/s offered a choice of the pair of twin beds or a full size in that
center bedroom. One alternative would be to obtain the necessary
hardware from (1) another VACer who is discarding the full size hardware for whatever
reason; (2) from a scrapped trailer of similar age; (3) as
replacement parts from a/s; (4) I think someone on this or the other list said the
wooden slides can still be obtained from the former supplier, one
"Walters of Wabash"; (5) make them yourself from aluminum or wood, your choice --
others have published descriptions and photos on this list.
