You guys are making everyone so proud - it's a thing of beauty to see a
plan come together. It looks like you all are narrowing down the date
and location options.
Randy Unter's thoughts on ideal location are excellent ones, and he has
a good feel for a successful rally, having Olema-Pt. Reyes fresh in his mind.
An itinerary like Richard Dias' mapped out earlier is the next logical
step, and is the kind of casual activities that will make an enjoyable rally.
Don't forget to get extra spots for those that will want to join in the
next few months - in other words, reserve the max # you can, especially
in a scenic rally spot as Colorado - you'll have many many takers.
This is exactly what the VAC has been hoping for for the Rocky Mountain,
Midwest and Southern areas. You will find you are starting up an annual
rally tradition, and will be visiting new sites each year.
If you reach any stumbling blocks, there are many experienced VAC Rally
Masters lurking on the list (you know who you are) that can be tapped
tapped to provide advice or suggestions.
Good luck guys, go for it!
RJ (and everyone else rooting for you)
