I seem to have stirred up a variety of responses..hope I haven't upset
anyone too much. As I said, I've just had my first one done, a "tasteful"
design of a sprite with spread wings and trailing ribbons. My partner
isquite excitied by my "daring", my teenager wants to know when he can have
his (when he is 18 and can pay for it himself), and my 4 year old loves it,
has pronounced it beautiful and delicate, and touches it gently when allowed.
Of course i will post pictures when it is done; as soon as it is finished,
as the design is visible immediately you leave the studio. The fineness of
the needles and inks used has improved greatly over recent years..it does
still hurt however.
I have always loved airstreams, and as I said I am now 42, not a teenager
subject to regrets.
Thanks to those of you who have made suggestions, and positive comments.
