Melanie,

Your '64 has the the frame like the attached image (complex) with square
mitered corners (easy).  Take one of the remaining windows to a
glass/window shop.  They can make a frame/pane that can be screwed in
place (non operable).  

Another option is to have a metal fabrication shop( yellow pages) build
up an equivalent of the old extrusion using stock extrusions and welding
them together  - expensive, but is an exact permanent fix.  

Last option (more expensive) is to replace the window with a Jalousie
window in the existing frame opening.  RV dealers can do the
installation using new Jalousie windows.  I'm not sure they can get them
in aluminum finish nowadays, but you can ask.  One place I've seen that
sells the Jalousie windows direct is  http://www.all-rite.com/
