Jim,
I was not aware that the owner sometimes had to weld an additional shank on
the adjustable head hitches. I had the impression that they provided almost
infinite adjustment. I learned something. I am still using the old weld up
Reese that I bought in 1975. It has been cut and reset several times over
the years. I guess it will probably outlast me.
