I'm talking about something closer to Polly's
definition of "cold weather" although I don't
think I'd be hanging out in 30 below weather for
more than about 5 seconds - not too fun to hit
the slopes in THAT. Don't feel bad, Harvey, I'm
a sissy, too.
My idea of comfortable ski resort conditions is
in the 15 to 35 range (similar to Mt. Bachelor,
OR). Guess I'll be doing some "temperature"
research before heading too far North with my
Airstream... The driving in the snow thing is a
concern, too, but mostly for OTHER drivers who
have "SUV Syndrome." I've driven my Camaros &
Firebirds safely up to Mt. Hood & Mt. Bachelor
for years and it's always the BIG 4-Wheel Drives
flipped over in the ditch. Of course I wasn't
towing an Airstream all those years, either.
Sorry - I think I'm getting off Airstream-track.
