You need to first unhook the rear arm at the bottom of the trailer and
unwind it (hold on tight). Once you have taken the spring tension off, the
rest is straight forward. If you want instructions on how to assembly the
awning contact Zip Dee and they will fax you a step by step instruction. I'm
in the process of cutting down a Zip Dee 18ft awning to 14ft, it can be done
pretty economically.
