Thanks for the reply. I didn't use any stripper, but a previous owner could
have. I thought we cleaned fairly well, but perhaps not. We used Simple
Green on everything. You can't imagine how dirty this thing was!
May never know what's causing it, but I think you're right. If it
continues, the only way to stop it will be to strip the old paint.
