Hey Harvey,
    I believe it was '66 to '68. Our '66 Trade Wind had a mixture of copper
and aluminum until we replaced it during our restoration.
Thanks to Bill Scott for urging me to do so. I had the interior skin off
anyway so it wasn't that much more work.
It is very likely that your Safari has aluminum wiring.
