Excellent reply Don Horn. My 61 Bambi has an air pressure water system and it works so well, I wonder why the system was changed to on demand. The beauty of the system, is that when you hook up to hose bib water, and open the valve under the couch to the aluminum tank, the tank becomes an accumulator tank. The tank will fill almost to the top, using the small amount of air in the tank, as the "cushion" and as the "accumulator". When I disconnect from the hose bib, and travel home, the water system is charged, and I usually have pressure for 3 or 4 days travel. That is using the water sparingly of course. I rarely fill the water tank, because it will fill automatically, when I hook up to city water. My little 12 volt compressor works well to charge the system when "boondocking", and if need be, the schrader valve on the water tank filler neck, can be used to charge the system, so it can be blown dry for winter. So,.........what's not to like???
