I buy 4x4 sheets of 5052 aluminum from Mcmaster -Carr online. Fast and easy. Somewhere around here I have a picture that shows a 5000 series stamp on the inside face of the exterior airstream skin panel ( made in france! ). 2024 is used for aircraft because of its weldability. It is 3 times as expensive as 5052. I believe 5052 is more corrosion resistant more workable and less brittle. --- Berger Roger <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > --- RJ Dial <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Reply to: RE: [VAC] Skin damage > > There are a couple of online site that sell the > > 2024-T aircraft aluminum you need.
