I just wondered if the proposal now floating through congress, Bill 602P
that purports to charge $.05 for each e-mail and will be billed from each
ISP has come to the attention of the list?
The charge for a typical day of several hundred e-mail could easily make
$15.
It certainly would influence my participation in e-group postings.
When is a tax not a tax? When it's called e-mail postage due!
