We were told recently by a "tech" that in Outlook Express 5 this was no
longer possible to turn that off. (I'm sure this is promoting the spread of
viruses)
When you open an e-mail like that, the stupid computer will keep trying to
connect to the Internet about 30 or 40 times while you keep hitting
"cancel". It is REALLY annoying. It's usually SPAM mail that does it
....which is even MORE annoying! At least with a Ralph Lauren site it was
something worth looking at!
