There's an ongoing thread on Hunter's Airstream List re: cork floor surfacing...lightweight, durable (when suitably sealed), and a renewable resource (the tree sheds its bark, periodically). When we were discussing lightweight subfloor materials a while back, some folks referred to the Boeing scrapyard in the pacific northwest... where is that located, exactly? Do they have a website? Are there any members who live nearby who would be willing to act as an 'agent' to locate/purchase materials for those of us looking for such things as sheets of aluminum 'honeycomb'?
