Greg,
Parallel batteries give more Amperes (volume), series give more Voltage
(pressure). Three batteries in series will give you 36 (+/-) Volts, not
good unless you are looking for flashbulbs in all your fixtures. ;^)>
Adding the additional weight of the batteries will affect weight and
balance of your rig significantly. Placing batteries where the optimum
w/b location indicates may mean running lots of wire. LARGE wire.
Remember low Volts need large Amps to get the same power. Large Amps
require large conductors to get through without overheating.
