Hey, wait a minute, you don't have to resort to Steel to get a measure of bullet
protection, I was in a Amtrak battalion in the Marine Corp., and the Amtraks
(amphibious Tracked vehicles) only had aluminum skins on them, they were around
1" thick as I recall, but aluminum all the same. Don't want to get into trouble
by having those two different alloys next to each other.
It might be a bit hard to get the sheets to curve very nicely though.
