Thanks, JIm. Actually, I'd wondered about whether it made more sense to get
an inverter for my laptop or buy the car adaptor. I think given what you say
I'll get the inverter. As you point out, it is more versatile. Where did you
get it, and how much? I've seen some brands at Target, etc. for very short
money ($30 or so) but was wary of the quality of the power output.
